CES is about to close the curtains on this year’s edition, and what a ride it was. We got the world’s first self-emptying robotic pool cleaner, the world’s first frameless TV, a pool cleaner that lifts itself out of water, a flying robovac, an actual stair-climbing bot cleaner, and so much more. But the most exciting launch came from the maker of robot vacuums, Ecovacs, and it is not a robovac. At CES 2026, Ecovacs brought its first robotic pet companion, christened LilMilo.
LilMIlo is arguably the most intriguing introduction by Ecovacs. LilMilo introduces a new form of digital companionship rooted in warmth and interactive intelligence. This works wonders for people who are allergic to pets but would like to experience the feeling of being a parent to one.
The robotic dog combines multi-sensory perception with expressive pet-like behavior. It has a camera embedded in the nose to see people and its surroundings. The pet bot comes with five personalities, seven emotions, and 27 expressive actions and sounds to mimic a real pet.

The robotic pet companion resembles a small, fluffy dog and is designed to bring joy to its owner. The bot utilizes advanced AI and biometrics to learn from its users by recognizing their behavior, habits, and voices. It can even use those traits to develop its own personality over time, just like an actual dog would.
Since people tend to name their pets, Ecovacs wants to bring the same feeling with its pet robot by pre-naming it. LilMilo could be a low-maintenance pet that you won’t have to look after or clean up after, unlike some robot pets that would die if you don’t care for them.
You can charge LilMilo via a USB, even on the go. Or you can return it to its docking station, aka the dog bed, where it will charge wirelessly. Use the app to see its mood and receive notifications. You can choose from four colors: white, brown, green, and blue. Frankly, blue and green put an asterisk on the whole “life-like” dog situation, but it works for people with eclectic tastes.
Similar to its 2026 CES lineup, Ecovacs is keeping the details about specs and pricing under wraps. But we expect the little guy to hit the market in early 2026.
