CES 2026 has not brought any breakthroughs, but brands have majorly focused on integrating AI, portability, and enhancing brightness in their projectors. Samsung’s Freestyle+ with AI OptiScreen for automatic calibration and Epson’s Lifestudio line, which integrates Google Gemini for AI-driven content recommendations, are some cool releases. Nebula X1 Pro by Soundcore

Marketed as the world’s first mobile theater station, this projector got plenty of limelight at CES this year. It comes integrated with a 400W 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos sound system with detachable wireless speakers and a 2nd-gen tri-laser engine for brighter and color-rich picture quality. Each speaker has an 8-hour built-in battery and a 12-channel RF chip for stable wireless pairing. The X1 pro mobile theater station features a 4K triple-laser engine that provides 3,500 ANSI lumens of brightness and supports a screen size of up to 300 inches. It runs on Google TV with built-in Netflix and Prime Video. There is a built-in telescopic handle to easily roll it like a suitcase while taking it outdoors.

Aetherion Pro by AWOL Vision

AWOL Vision’s Aetherion Pro 4K ultra short-throw (UST) projector is another cool release at CES 2026. It stands out with its proprietary PixelLock technology that combines optical, mechanical, and digital alignment system to maintain full 4K sharpness on large screens up to 200 inches. Other highlighting features are 2,600 ISO lumens brightness, 6,000:1 native contrast ratio, 1ms-class input latency at a 240Hz refresh rate, and support for Dolby Vision Gaming, IMAX Enhanced, HDR10+, and Filmmaker Mode.

JMGO N3 Ultimate

JMGO is aiming at homeowners looking for a projector that can offer bright-room cinematic experiences with its new N3 Ultimate. This projector is touted to deliver 5,800 ISO Lumens brightness, which makes it suitable for daytime viewing. The motorized base with 360° horizontal rotation and 135° vertical lens shift is also a cool feature. It enables the projector to automatically adjust and remember screen positions. Other key features include Lossless Optical Zoom and MALC 3.0 Technology.

XGIMI Titan Noir Max

XGIMI brought the latest edition of its Titan series at CES, presenting it as a professional-grade smart projector. At its core is the dual iris system that delivers 10,000: 1 native contrast and 100,000: 1 dynamic contrast ratio that helps achieve deeper blacks and refined highlights. The projector also employs a re-engineered DMD architecture that is capable of handling higher light power densities. Apart from contrast quality, the projector delivers 5,000 lumens of brightness to ensure you can watch movies in bright rooms. It is slated to be available to preorder through Kickstarter in the first quarter of 2026.

Samsung The Freestyle+

Samsung has upgraded its popular, The Freestyle projector for 2026 with enhanced brightness, AI-powered screen optimization and upgraded audio. Now the projector reaches 430 ISO Lumens which is double the brightness of the previous model. The Freestyle+ projector comes with AI OptiScreen that automatically adjusts the picture to different spaces using features like 3D Auto Keystone, Real-time Focus, Screen Fit and Wall Calibration. The new Vision AI Companion is also integrated, which allows you to search for the on-screen content. For audio, it uses a built-in 360-degree speaker while Q-Symphony allows it to pair with compatible Samsung soundbars.

Hisense XR10

Hisense’s new XR10 projector features an optical system built on pure trichromatic laser technology. This projector can beam a 300-inch 4K image with 6,000 ANSI lumens brightness that can rival top Micro-LED TVs. It is equipped with a pure RGB triple-laser light source and LPU 3.0 Digital Laser Engine to deliver 4K resolution with expanded BT.2020 color space. It also employs a new IRIS system that automatically adjusts the lens aperture for contrast up to 6,000:1. The XR10 can project a maximum 300-inch image using AI-assisted setup.

Epson Lifestudio Grand

Epson is the first brand to integrate Google TV with Gemini AI into its Lifestudio Grand 4K UST projector. This collaboration transforms projectors into intelligent smart home hubs with conversational capabilities. You can discover content through natural language queries, and it provides cross-app recommendations. The projector offers 3,600 lumens of brightness and a 3-Chip 3LCD engine. It can project a 120-inch image and integrates a custom-designed 2.1 stereo system by Bose.
