Whole-home battery backups have three value propositions. They can help reduce electricity bills, provide grid independence by allowing you to store surplus solar power, and also offer backup in case of an outage. We already have a few efficient solutions from Tesla, Bluetti, and EcoFlow on the market, and Anker is now making its presence felt with a new E10 smart hybrid home power system launched under its Solix brand. It was first announced at CES, and even made it to our list of best power stations you can buy in 2026.

For some, this may come as a pleasant surprise, but most people privy to the industry would know that Anker has been producing incredible home power solutions with its Solix brand, and the E10 is a fine example of this. Designed to go toe-to-toe with the existing forces in the whole-home backup systems, the Solix E10 arrives with battery, solar, and a smart generator to keep your home powered 24×7.

The base system, comprising a Power Module (inverter) and a battery pack, is open for pre-order. Pricing starts at $4,299, and shipping is expected to begin in the US from February 4, 2026. A complete package, including an E10, Smart Generator, and Power Dock, would cost $7,399.

According to the press information, a single Solix unit delivers 37.2 kW continuous output. With turbo mode on, the unit can boast 10 kW output for about 90 minutes, allowing users to satiate short-term peak demand and power high-demand appliances during outages.

With two E10 units together, the high surge capacity can reach 66 kW. And paired with a Power Dock, the E10 can provide 200-amp whole-home backup to let users power all appliances at home without a fuss. The seamless 20ms switchover during outages supported by the E10 means you will never be left wanting for power.

The Solix E10 is designed for ease of use and durability. Therefore, it features an all-metal NEMA 4 enclosure with UV protection. The power backup system can work in temperatures ranging from -4°F to 131°F conveniently. But what makes the E10 special is its stackable, plug-and-play design, which permits battery expansion and DIY installation without taking up much space.

If the power of two is not enough for your requirement, homeowners can combine three Solix E10 units together to create 90 kWh capacity using modular 6 kWh batteries. As per the information, this can produce “enough power for up to 15 days during outages.” The company also informs that each unit supports up to 9 kW of solar input. This can be expanded to 27 kW with three units working in tandem.

For users who desire a more cost-effective option, the company provides a Smart Inlet Box. This offers manual switchover– as opposed to auto switchover with Power Dock – during outages. It charges using solar power and can help reduce electricity bills.
