No other tiny house manufacturer has attained cult status in building mobile homes like Modern Tiny Living (MTL). As a matter of fact, it is one of the rare tiny house companies in the US that has not pivoted to building ADUs or park models and has stayed true to the essence of building tiny houses on wheels. It’s been quite some time, though, since the Ohio-based company last released a tiny house. To kick off 2026 with a bang, the company has finally unveiled its latest creation, the Tink tiny house on wheels.

Built on a triple-axle trailer, the Tink tiny house measures 28 feet long, which hits the sweet spot in configuration and is neither too big nor too small by the US tiny house standards. “Built on a custom Trailer Made foundation, Tink features LP SmartSide vertical and lap siding with a black steel roof for a crisp, durable exterior,” the company explains.

On the inside, the tiny house features poplar tongue-and-groove walls combined with warm wood accents and LifeProof LVT flooring to create an inviting atmosphere that feels substantially larger than its footprint suggests. Like other models in its lineup, the Tink tiny house includes an elevated living room, a functional kitchen, a bathroom, a toilet, and a loft bedroom.

Similar to the Shadow tiny house and Hatteras tiny home, the MTL living room serves as both a primary gathering spot that seats up to six people and doubles as a main-floor bedroom. It converts into a full-size bed when needed. This flexibility is enhanced by extensive built-in storage, including drawers, sub-floor compartments, and bookshelves, addressing one of the primary challenges tiny house dwellers face, which is organization in limited square footage.

A little ahead is the kitchen. It comes equipped with cabinetry, brown maple countertops, a gas range and oven, a 30-inch microwave, and a spacious quad-door refrigerator, providing full-sized home functionality. The inclusion of a built-in washer and dryer combo unit eliminates the need for external laundry facilities, a crucial consideration for full-time residents.

Contrary to traditional MTL models, the makers have outfitted the Tink with a dedicated private office at the rear. The office has its own entrance and is furnished with a desk, chair, and other accessories. This separate zone makes the home particularly appealing for those requiring a professional environment within their living space.

Another key area is the loft. Like its traditional models, the Tink tiny house loft can be accessed via a storage-integrated staircase, and features a privacy wall and cubbies, accessed via a custom storage staircase with cable railing, which provides comfortable sleeping quarters while maximizing vertical space. Downstairs is the bathroom, which contains a shower, a sink, and a flushing toilet. The tiny house relies on a standard RV-style hookup to meet its electricity and water supply needs.

Combined, these features reflect the tiny house movement’s emphasis on sustainability and self-sufficiency while maintaining modern conveniences. The Tink tiny house shows how contemporary tiny house design has evolved to support genuine full-time living without compromising quality or functionality.
