The Northern Rivers, New South Wales-based Tanglewood Tiny Homes utilizes decades of experience building tiny homes that are practical for everyday living. Each of its builds embraces warmth, simplicity, and an intentional way of living. A case in point is the Narlu tiny house. It is thoughtfully designed with a single floor plan, creating a nurturing, free-flowing space with ample glazing and unobstructed indoor-outdoor connectivity.

The tiny house is 29 feet long and 8 feet wide, providing sufficient space for individuals, couples, and downsizers. Inside, an abundance of windows throughout allow natural light to filter in, bringing a sense of openness and tranquility. Not to mention, the clean gable form, soft and light cladding, and warm timber accents, setting the tone for a quiet, grounded space that’s effortless to dwell in. The single-level layout of this mobile home features a kitchen, living room, bathroom, and bedroom, suitable for year-round living.

Inspired by the coastal calm, the living room centers the home. It’s a warm, bright space, surrounded by windows. The space features a storage-integrated L-shaped seating, abundant cabinets, and shelves, simplifying storage problems in the house. You can sit here with your loved one on a cozy Sunday morning and enjoy some enriching, calming outdoor views. The living room is truly a place to unwind.

Adjacent to the living room, there’s a modern kitchen. The space is immaculately furnished with a countertop, cabinets, and shelves. We assume the kitchen comes stocked with basic appliances. Cooking in this kitchen will surely bring you joy with soft light pouring in and panoramic views keeping you company as you whip up your favorite dish.

The bathroom in the Narlu tiny house is on the other side of the living area. Enclosed by a sliding door, it exudes warmth with woodwork and plants complementing each other. You will find everything you need, from the glass shower, toilet, vanity sink, and a washer-dryer unit, adding convenience and practicality. Apart from this, there are two floating shelves and a stunning skylight to gaze at the blue sky as you bathe.

For sleeping, the bedroom is next to the bathroom. It’s a cocooning space with large windows, a skylight, and plenty of sunlight. The bedroom houses a double bed, built-in storage, and a cabinet. The view of the night sky from the skylight will cradle you to sleep, whereas the chirping of birds and picturesque outdoor views will gently wake you up in the morning.

Undoubtedly, the tiny house is designed to prioritize ease with natural light and a snug setup for sleeping, reading, cooking, or hanging out, making downsizing a dream come true. The price of the Narlu tiny house starts from AUD172,000 (roughly $123,300). For more information about this particular build or to see other amazing works, you can check out the company’s website.
