Tanglewood Tiny Homes, based in Chinderah, New South Wales, has unveiled its latest offering, the Tulki tiny house on wheels. Stylized as tulki., this mobile dwelling sits on a triple-axle trailer, promising a flexible lifestyle without compromising on comfort or quality. Measuring 29.5 feet in length and 8.2 feet in width, it slots neatly into the middle of Tanglewood’s growing design lineup, sitting alongside the narlu. and the warra.

Like many Australian tiny homes, the Tulki combines wood and metal in its exterior construction. Dark tones are paired with warm timber finishes, producing a grounded, considered aesthetic that sets it well apart from the utilitarian look typically associated with prefabricated dwellings.

The tiny house is accoutered with generous glazing that draws natural light deep into the interior, a detail the maker celebrates by describing the Tulki as “a character-rich home shaped by natural materials, clean lines, and a calm connection to its surroundings.”

Inside, natural wooden linings and an open-plan layout work in tandem to create a bright, welcoming space that feels remarkably easy to live in. Despite its compact footprint, the home is designed to feel spacious.

The layout features a living area with an L-shaped bench storage sofa alongside thoughtfully chosen furnishings that lend the room a warm, lived-in feel. Adjacent to it, a breakfast bar doubles as a workspace or casual dining spot when needed.

The kitchen sits just beyond, balancing functionality with visual appeal. It is equipped with a sink and all necessary appliances, while floating shelves furnished throughout the home offer flexible space for decorative or everyday essentials. A storage-integrated staircase leads up to the loft bedroom, which is fitted with skylights that bathe the space in natural light.

The bathroom is equipped with a shower and vanity, while dedicated cabinetry next to the kitchen counter neatly accommodates a refrigerator and a washer drawer. Power is supplied via a standard RV-style hookup. The Tulki tiny house is priced at AUD 180,000 (roughly $120,000) and is available directly through the Tanglewood Tiny Homes website.
