Tiny homes have come a long way, and the Goldstein tiny house is a fitting example of just how far. Designed by architect Sydne Goldstein and built by Nook Tiny Homes, this 225-square-foot home on wheels offers clean lines, quality finishes, and a smart use of space, all for under $70,000. Interestingly, I discovered the tiny home on the Indigo River Tiny Homes website, which was apparently Nook Tiny Homes’ listing agent.

Mounted on a high-quality triple-axle trailer, the home measures 26 feet long with a 2-foot bump-out, 8.5 feet wide, and 13.5 feet high. Its exterior follows a clean, modern farmhouse aesthetic with natural wood cladding that pairs effortlessly with modern rooflines and a grey-green door, creating an instantly charming curb appeal.

Inside, the layout is thoughtfully arranged, featuring a generous kitchen, a living room, a stand-up loft, and a bathroom. Unlike many tiny homes that open directly into the living area, the Goldstein welcomes you through a dedicated mudroom. The space also doubles as a laundry station and is finished with a tiled backsplash that sets the tone for the quality found throughout.

A little ahead is the living room with a convertible sleeper sofa, a wall-mounted TV, and warm walnut open shelving and trim that run throughout the entire home, adding richness to every corner.

Next to the living room is the kitchen. The biggest highlight here is a classic farmhouse sink, complemented by walnut butcher block countertops. The kitchen adds warmth and character to the dwelling. The space is outfitted with a thoughtful selection of compact appliances, including an apartment-size refrigerator, a drawer dishwasher, a stow-away cooktop, and a built-in microwave with vent hood.

A storage-integrated staircase leads up to the loft bedroom. Unlike the cramped loft spaces found in many tiny homes, the Goldstein tiny house offers genuine headroom, along with a queen-size bed platform, a full-size built-in wardrobe with a matching nightstand, and a wall-mounted TV.

Downstairs is the bathroom. It is elegantly finished with a tiled floor and includes a residential flush toilet and a glass-enclosed shower with tile surround and glass doors, which adds a spa-like touch to the bathroom.
