Tiny houses are amazing, but many tend to miss the vitals to lure clientele. The primary pain points: lofts are small and just functional enough, the bathrooms are compact, and the kitchens don’t have room for an island. These issues don’t occur all at once in a tiny house, but they often have one of these complaints. Luckily, Oregon-based builder Tru Form Tiny has mastered the art of tackling all of this to provide a holistic space where life can thrive. One great example of the company’s craftsmanship is the 24-foot Craftsman Kootenay tiny house.

The Craftsman Kootenay tiny house comes in 22-, 24-, and 28-foot lengths to fit various needs. But that’s not all. This petite dwelling can accommodate so much in its compact configurations. The 24-foot-long and 8.5-foot-wide Craftsman Kootenay features a larger loft with two skylights, a peninsula kitchen, a fold-down deck, and a tub in the bathroom.

Its sleek monochromatic exterior is dotted with multiple windows and a dormer-style split roof, creating a breathable, open interior. A fold-down deck under a fixed awning isn’t big enough to host parties and such, but it does provide a small area for you to sit back and relax with a loved one.

The entrance opens into a really cool spot between the bathroom and the kitchen. The front door brings you onto a landing where the bathroom tiles and the living area’s hickory wood flooring converge in a hexagonal pattern, setting a beautiful contrast of light and dark.

The 5-foot bathroom isn’t the biggest one in a tiny house; however, it still manages to fit in all the necessities, including a vanity sink, a washer/dryer unit, a toilet, a couple of cabinets, and a bathtub. It creates a cozy nook where you can relax and unwind after a hard day.

The kitchen and the living space cohabitate in an open floor plan. The L-shaped kitchen features a full-size fridge, roll-out pantry, integrated cooktop, oven, range hood, fishbone-style black backsplash, quartz countertops, sink, and dishwasher. For storage, there are plenty of under-counter drawers and cabinets.

Opposite the cooking area is a closet and the stairs leading to the loft bedroom. The loft takes the space above the kitchen and the bathroom, offering a spacious bedroom with a queen- or king-size mattress. There are multiple windows bringing in natural light, including two skylights. It also includes a dresser nook with a handful of drawers.

The living area below has full-height ceilings. It makes room for a dining area by putting the seating in a bay window-style setup in a bump-out nook. The dining area has an L-shaped seating and two stools around a circular table.

If you fancy the amenities the Craftsman Kootenay tiny house offers, the pricing starts at $105,900. The three configurations make it further suitable for different clientele. Tru Form Tiny also offers customization options to better suit your needs. This just might be your sign to embrace downsized living.
