Janjaap Ruijssenaars, founder of Amsterdam-based Universe Architectures, has unveiled another conceptual project called Tetris House. The project is based on the most iconic video game ‘Tetris,’ which has now become an innovative solutions for urban living spaces.

Now ready for production, the modular house is constructed and designed on the principle of sliding blocks. These panels form a three-terraced house that will give residents 360-degree views to enjoy nature and surrounding areas.

Stacked on top of one another, the Tetris House is constructed using concrete, steel and walls made of glass windows. It measures 1,883-square feet and comes in three pre-established formats, each supporting a rectangular shape.

Originally created by Universe Architectures with the help of AutoCAD, SketchUp and 3ds, the building can adapt to any international building codes. The revolutionary house guarantees to provide comfortable and convenient living solutions for rapidly growing populations.

The first house will be installed in Netherlands and aims to celebrate the natural surroundings with floating Tetris House, while the interiors of the house will be managed by renowned Dutch firm i29, who will be designing unique patterns to match and complement the revolutionary design of the Tetris House.
