Vancouver Island-based tiny house manufacturer Rewild Homes has built a new dwelling dubbed the Juniper tiny house on wheels. Mounted on a triple-axle trailer, the tiny house measures 34 feet long and 10.6 feet wide, and that extra 0.6 feet of width makes all the difference, setting Juniper apart from other dwellings in its class.

The added width allows the manufacturer to fit a bathtub into the tiny home, a rarity for a build this size, while also freeing up more walking space inside, something tiny house dwellers are always short on. We’ll get to all these details, but first, let’s look at the exterior.

The exterior boasts a stylish mix of warm cedar siding on the upper section and sleek dark metal cladding below. Large windows accentuate the look further, letting natural light flood the interior. A simple wooden staircase leads visitors to the main entry door, while the black metal roof and clean lines create a grounded, durable look built to handle Vancouver Island’s climate with ease.

Inside, hardwood flooring runs throughout the home and complements light pine or cedar tongue-and-groove ceilings and walls that radiate warmth. Large windows and a glass door brighten the open living area and frame views of the surrounding greenery. The living room is the first thing visitors spot upon entering the Juniper.

The living room is outfitted with floating shelves that provide practical display space without crowding the floor plan. It is furnished with a blue sectional sofa that sits alongside a wooden dining table that serves both meals and work sessions. Other features include a circular ceiling fan with integrated lighting that spins overhead, adding both function and style to the dwelling.

Adjacent to the living room is the kitchen, which the makers say “showcases retro turquoise Unique appliances.” It comes loaded with accessories ranging from a double sink and range hood to a four-burner oven and refrigerator. Dark grey cabinetry pairs with warm wood countertops, and the open layout keeps the space airy while still defining clear zones for cooking, dining, and relaxing.

Next to the kitchen is the bathroom, sandwiched between the kitchen and bedroom, and split into two distinct spaces. One side holds the bathtub with an integrated shower and a toilet, while the other houses the washer-dryer and vanity. A sliding barn-style door provides stylish access to both the kitchen and bedroom.

The private bedroom lies a little further ahead, welcoming residents with a warm cedar ceiling and an ample storage loft above. All in all, the tiny house is perfect for couples or families with children who are looking to downsize.

According to the maker, the Juniper runs on a smart combination of propane and electricity, “with on-demand water heat, a flush toilet, and electric space heat throughout.” There’s no word yet on the pricing of the Juniper tiny house, but we’d guess it easily surpasses the $100K mark.
