Marcantonio is a renowned Canadian designer who always impresses with his beautiful lamp designs that draw inspiration from the splendid wonders of nature. The Aira lamp is one of his latest creations unveiled at the recently concluded Salone del Mobile 2023, showcasing his continued commitment to nature-inspired design. Shaped like a tree branch, the floor-standing lamp seamlessly blends efficient functionality with organic aesthetics to create a harmonious lighting experience in any living space.

Explaining the lamp design Marcantonio said “In many cultures, the branch of a tree is always loaded with very important symbolic values related to Nature, man, and spirituality. The idea of turning a branch into a light source stems from the desire to amplify this positive valence and create a functional object that at the same time can act as a stimulus for the soul.”

The connections between man and nature are Marcantonio’s favorite theme, as he interprets both the dynamics and the beauties of nature, showcasing the attitude of man altering the original.

Designed for Horm, the Aira lamp stimulates the imagination and explores the relationship between people and their environment. Influenced by elements found in the natural world, this lamp brings a touch of tranquility and elegance to your home or office.

The lamp’s structure is brass painted satin gold while the base consists of white Carrara or black Marquina marble. This luminous brass branch becomes a symbolic representation that allows one to connect with nature’s archetypes and spiritual energies.

Aira lamp truly brings the essence of nature into your living room, redefining luxury with its unique beauty. The decor accessory is not just a functional object, but also a communicative one that connects with people on an emotional level.
