Created by a Dutch designer, this metal desk is a sculptural furniture unit crafted in a shape of the tail fin of a 1930s’ Douglas DC-3. If you’re bored of the conventional wood table and want a cool new design, this custom-made airplane wing desk can be a good option. Four strong aluminum plate legs with a tapering design are fastened with the shiny top to create a strong and aesthetically pleasing piece of aviation furniture.

Measuring 80H x 215W x 110L cm, it is not as large as the original airplane wing and thus can be used in small houses. Polished reflective surface, coupled with steel screws, beautifully winds up the essence of the historical aviation history, making it suitable for contemporary as well as traditional homes and workspaces.

There’s a landing light on the front end for a realistic feel. The massive efforts devoted to sanding, polishing and buffing the aluminum surface are visible from the flawless mirror finish.
