Late British fashion designer Alexander McQueen’s two-story penthouse in Mayfair, London is on sale for £8.5million (approx..US $10 million). Renovated by international design house Paul Davies, the duplex home is filled with dramatic touches that pay tribute to its former owner – featuring a ‘fashion catwalk’ lined with mirrors and photographs of McQueen’s most famous shows.

Highlighting features

Located inside the refurbished property on Dunraven Street, built in 1897, this stunning abode is quite spacious along with high-end furniture and interior decor objects. Some of the highlighting features of his stunning home are a dramatic spiral staircase that leads to two VIP bedroom suites, a gorgeous roof garden for entertaining, a vast dining room opening on to a terrace, and bathrooms decked up with one-of-a-kind Calacatta marble.

There is also a bespoke kitchen with wine chiller – designed by Clive Christian. Furthermore, black American walnut wood flooring, eye-catching chandeliers, and walk-in dressing rooms are other appealing features of this gorgeous home.

Reportedly, McQueen paid £2.525 million for the Dunraven Street home, which is now being sold through Wetherell Estate Agents. Get a closer look at the penthouse in the images below, and head over to Paul Davies’s official website for more information.
