Altifarm has made a name for itself by offering different types of indoor gardening solutions. The PICO palm-sized indoor planter is one of their most popular products, which has been updated this year in bigger size and with more features. The new model called PicoMax has telescopic LED lights to simulate sunlight and a self-watering system to grow plants indoors.

The PicoMax indoor planter automatically waters plants and provides them with exactly the right amount of light to ensure rapid growth, even in a darkest corner of the house. It makes growing herbs and flowers indoors pretty simple!

Powered by LEDs from OSRAM, it provides all necessary wavelengths of light to mimic the sunlight. The proximity-sensor driven automatic dimming function ensures safety of plants from leaf burn or overexposure.

Its water tank is sufficient to water plants once daily for 10 days. With its capillary wick, PicoMax will make sure plants only receive the right amount of water required. Furthermore, the built-in real-time clock ensures plants get the recommended amount of sunlight every day without the need to turn the device off and on.

The PicoMax indoor planter also comes with an optional battery that can provide light for up to four days. There are multiple mounting options: hang it on the wall, place on any flat surface or use as a fridge magnet. Users can connect more than one PicoMax together to create a bigger indoor garden.

Currently, PicoMax is raising funds through Kickstarter. You can make a pledge for a minimum of $75 to get one in October 2021.
