The Normandy-based company, La Tiny House, built the Atelier d’Artiste tiny house that transforms a functional living space into an inspiring, creative sanctuary. The dual loft bedrooms feel like cozy nests wrapped in the natural warmth of untreated Spruce wood, while the continuous long wooden desk on the ground floor forms a dedicated workspace with generous glazing that blurs the boundary between indoor and nature.

The rugged, asymmetrical exterior of the Atelier d’Artiste tiny house is unique in itself. The tiny house features a rustic combination of weathered wooden planks merged with large panels of rusted Corten steel. These two tactile materials, in addition to multiple black-framed windows, give a classic artist’s workshop vibe to the studio with raw industrial aesthetics.

The tough, industrial façade acts like a protective shell that protects a rather warm, sun-drenched, golden cocoon-like interior. The large glazed windows flood the interior with natural light that bounces off the untreated, light-toned wood to create a soft, gleaming amber glow. This visual contrast softens the sharp geometry of the exterior and makes the living space feel warm and serene.

Created as an artist’s studio, it has an intentional, distraction-free spatial interior with separate rest and work zones. The ground floor functions as a quiet, creative zone where you can solely focus on your work without letting any external stimuli ruin your concentration. The two mezzanines provide an elevated sleeping zone where you can read, rest, and get inspiring ideas while gazing through the glazed windows.

The open-floor layout of the 20-foot interior eliminates boundaries to make the living space feel fluid and expansive. The multipurpose long wooden desk with two plywood chairs sitting next to the glazed windows functions as a dining space and workspace. The linear kitchen located right next to the desk has a large cabinetry that provides ample storage facilities. The built-in counter fridge and washing machine save space and remove visual clutter while maintaining a clean, streamlined view.

A storage-integrated wooden staircase leads to the primary loft bedroom that sleeps two people. The ample glazing brings in plenty of light and offers beautiful views of natural scenery. Opposite to this lies another loft bedroom accessible through wooden stairs. It sleeps one person and can accommodate a guest easily. Below this secondary loft bedroom, the compact bathroom has a shower, a few utility hookups, a cabinet for storage, a toilet, and a white ceramic washbasin.

The cozy, minimalistic aesthetic of the Atelier d’Artiste tiny house makes it a dream house for many artists. The monochromatic palette of wood-clad interiors feels luxurious and appealing, while multipurpose furniture provides generous space without causing any visual clutter.

The integrated workspace lets you work contentedly, while a warm wood finish brings in a warm ambience that feels incredibly soothing. The loft bedrooms under the slanted roof give a nested feeling that encourages you to unwind after a long day. It is available for €64,000 (roughly $74,400) on the official website of La Tiny House.
