Bahama Tiny House Gives Maritime Vibes With its Jute-Rope Draped Terrace and Loft Bedroom

The Bahama tiny house built by the European manufacturer Tiny House BAR-TOF resembles a beautiful lakeside nautical cabin, offering a fresh maritime vibe. Its jute rope-draped terrace, along with the chunky wooden posts, mirrors the mooring ropes and dock lines found on ships. The compact dwelling tucks a cozy loft bedroom in its 226-square-foot compact footprint. The tiny house sits atop a double axle trailer and measures 22 feet long, 8.4 feet wide, and 13 feet high.

The Bahama tiny house features a dual-textured façade just like the Sophia tiny house that we covered recently. The vertical standing seam sheet panels frame the horizontal Scandinavian spruce lap siding, giving it a striking appearance. The rope-draped terrace expands the visual footprint and offers unobstructed, panoramic views of the surroundings. The organic texture of jute rope and spruce wood adds tactile richness to the façade and intensifies the modern rustic aesthetic of the tiny house.

The metal-framed glass door opens into a warm, wood-wrapped interior with an open floor layout. The living room near the entrance includes a convertible sofa bed and dark-toned coffee table. Decorative wall art made with wooden hexagon pieces adds an artistic touch to the interior and visually separates it from other zones. You can lounge on the sofa and watch your favorite shows on the 32-inch television that sits on the wall storage with cubbies.

The elongated wooden countertop of the linear kitchen merges into the dining zone with two stools. You can enjoy your meal while looking out of the window and slide the stools under the counter when not in use. The countertop includes an electric hob with two burners, a sink with a gooseneck faucet, and sage green cabinetry with a soft-close system.

The cabinetry beside the kitchen countertop includes an integrated oven with a microwave function and a refrigerator with a freezer. This clever layout neatly arranges the bulky appliances and keeps them from cluttering the precious floor space in a tiny footprint.

The wooden staircase with plenty of built-in storage and cubbies lies adjacent to the kitchen. Dark-toned wooden steps of the staircase contrast against the light-toned lap siding on the walls. The rope handrails bring a coastal vibe to the space and lead towards the loft bedroom, secured with a wooden railing.

The loft bedroom has a double bed and built-in storage cabinets with a countertop at the foot of the bed. The glazing on both sides of the bed brings in plenty of sunlight, while the carpeted floor adds warmth to the room. The bathroom lies below the loft and includes a shower room with beautiful tilework, a toilet, and a vanity sink.

The Bahama tiny house offers comfortable living for two people in its coastal-like cabin interior. The underfloor heating system in the living room, kitchen, and bathroom maintains warmth in cold weather, while the air conditioner gives a tailored indoor temperature all year-round.
