Who Needs a Tiny House When you can Have a Barbie Mansion

Be ready to embrace the pink power!

Tiny houses are fun for sure, but do they stand anywhere close to a Barbie mansion? Not a chance! Irrespective of the love being showered on tiny houses, the truth is, a Barbie dreamhouse is ten times more aesthetic than any micro dwelling on the planet. And if you don’t agree with me, you better book Barbie’s Malibu DreamHouse available on Airbnb, and have once in a lifetime experience.

The life-sized Barbie Malibu DreamHouse was earlier listed on Airbnb for just $60 a night, back in 2019 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the brand. However, it was available for a limited time only. Years later, Barbie’s Malibu DreamHouse marks its thumping return to Airbnb on the backdrop of Margot Robbie-starrer Barbie film that is set to release on July 21.

As per Airbnb, Ken, Babrie’s longtime partner, will be your host for the night in Barbie’s Malibu Dreamhouse (Don’t expect Ryan Gosling to be there, though!). Though the property belongs to Barbie but with Ken being the host, it has western-themed décor adorned with cowboy touches from doors to equipment.

What this implies is that you may spot some of Ken’s personal touches from his garden grill to a barrel of workout supplements. The house features cowboy hats on the wall, fringed shirts in the closet, and an oversize horse. Not to mention, rollerblades and guitars, because Ken isn’t going anywhere without them.

Contrary to the 2019 version, the 2023 Barbie Malibu DreamHouse boasts an all-pink exterior. It even features an outdoor disco, an infinity pool, and a Western-themed bedroom (as aforementioned). The rest remains the same, with DreamHouse featuring three floors with two bedrooms.

As per Airbnb, “Booking opens at 10 a.m. PT on Monday, July 17 for two, one-night stays for up to two guests on July 21 and July 22, 2023.” An important thing to note here is that the stay will be free of cost.

Airbnb doesn’t indicate how it will determine who gets to stay in Ken’s space, so I won’t be surprised if they hire professional actors who speak highly about the space and it turns out to be a publicity gimmick.
