Cenlitrosmetrocadrado, a multidisciplinary design studio based out of Santiago de Compostela, Spain is known for its versatile furniture designs that not solve simple practical functions but also addresses emotional and social angles. Lately, the studio has designed and manufactured a furniture collection for common areas of the 13Rosas building. It includes furniture that combines thin metal rod frames with colorful cushions. The furniture range looks unique and refreshing.
The collection comprises a system of tables and benches that can be used indoors or outdoors and stored effortlessly. The design is simple and combines thin metal rods with wooden surfaces. There are more furniture pieces, composed of a series of modular metal baskets that can be turned into a low table, storage container or as a seat. Just put in the cushion in a metal basket and a cozy seat is ready, with or without backrest.
The unique seating comes with two cushion sizes, which can be used in a combination to achieve three different types of seat: no back, low back or high back. Finally, the outer area, which is a central courtyard, is equipped with hanging metal chairs.
Cenlitrosmetrocadrado has creatively custom-designed and manufactured this furniture collection according to the space available in the building. The colorful combinations of metal frame and cushions make the design more creative and elegant.
