I firmly believe that Halloween displays are a reflection of a person’s personality in one way or the other. The diversity of Halloween food, layout, chosen theme, and material is also largely influenced by the market trends doing the rounds. Ammon Smith, a custom builder from Salt Lake City, Utah, has been DIYing some impressive Halloween decorations for more than seven years now, and he has done it again!

From military tank front yard decor to this year’s Scooby-Doo’s Scary Halloween theme, the fervor is intact. Dubbed Coolsvile: Spookiest Place on Earth, you can see his passion and enthusiasm for Halloween flowing right through it.

Ammon Smith claims that the outer hard shell of the display is crafted from strips of wood both straight and bent, canvas, and lots of colorful paint. The talented DIYer directly compares his skills to the Youtube crafter moms who are usually surrounded by popsicle sticks and hot glue. Ammon just goes a notch up with his scale, magnitude, and execution.

We can see skeletons adorning the famous Scooby-Doo characters for the perfect look and feel around the yard. Fred, Velma, Daphne, and Shaggy haunt the onlookers with their spine-chilling getup at the very entrance. Giant spiders with cobwebs crawl onto the entrance and the sides of the shed too. A mummy wrapped in white plain cloth is scary enough to don a gothic look to terrify its audience.

The entire Coolsville Halloween theme is built on a mini-van. The Mystery Machine apes the comic van’s avatar and can be perfect to hang around during All Hallows’ Eve. A giant head of Scooby-Doo sticks out of the mystery van too.

Large daunting figurines haunt the guests near and above the Halloween setup. Will Ammon amp up the whole scenario by clubbing in some other Halloween decoration ideas, adding in some lights or even music to the eerie scenario, you will have to visit and experience on your own to know.
