Thinking of creating a haunted scene at home for Halloween, nothing beats the creepiness of a corpse skull. Skull corpsing is not very challenging if you’re ready to spend some time but what is more concerning is where to place it so you can blow the guts of someone approaching your fortress.

Haunting the neighbors is not going to be the same this year with all the restrictions of maintaining social distancing and with the pressure of keeping you and the kin healthy. Nonetheless, to have a way to make the passersby cringe in fear, draw inspiration from Redditor PopCornPlayer81 who has corpsed a skull and shared his experience with netizens.

The project is based on a thrifty skull bought of Kmart. The DIYer, to achieve sinew, melted plastic bag on the skull and wiped the teeth clean to ensure they are different colored. Next up the skull was coated with varnish and then painted with black, cool red, and ochre orange for a striking gory appearance. The excess paint from the eyes and nose was cleaned using a sponge.

The final result is anything short of creepy. If you want to give it a try, what you achieve will depend on your painting ability and finance. You can make it so realistic that it appears to have just risen from the grave – let your creativity flow and show us what you’ve got when you pull off the spooky!
