With summer approaching, backyard lounging is going to become a favorite activity. Keeping backyard gatherings or pool parties in mind, Costco has slashed prices on its popular pop-up bar shed, a summer accessory you didn’t know you needed, until now.

The Costco Yardline Solara is a 10L x 8W x 9.6H-foot wood bar shed where you can keep snacks, pool towels, and other handy accessories and make drinks to ward off the summer heat, without ever having to run to and back from the house all the time.

The Yardline Solara seems like a giant IKEA-like undertaking, as The Spruce calls it, that offers ideal backyard storage and hosting space. The backyard shed is big enough for you to stand inside, while the open front panel creates a bar-like space, allowing you to play bartender for the day, serving drinks and snacks to the guests. It is the perfect place to convene around during an outdoor summer soiree.

To make things easier for you, Costco offers a DIY option, where you can build the structure yourself, or you can leave the installation to the professionals, which will cost you an extra $1,000. You can also choose an unpainted version of the shed to paint yourself in your choice of color, and versions with or without a floor.

The bar window comes with pull handles and a lockable latch so you can neatly keep things closed at night or during bad weather. Overhead, a wooden pergola keeps things shady and cool. A second window pours in natural light and a cool breeze.

Inside, you can keep a couple of cabinets, stools, beverages, a mini or full-size fridge (provided you connect it to the grid), and whatever you can fit. The extra-tall interior offers ample space for custom shelving. You can decorate it however you see fit.

Regardless of how you customize the Costco pop-up bar shed, all options make hosting easy, without having to run to the house for drinks or food during backyard gatherings or pool parties. Its DIY-friendly construction makes it further appealing to people looking for an affordable backyard structure.

Costco Yardline Solara pop-up bar shed can be yours for $2,499.99, currently at $500 off. If you wish Costco to install the structure, it will cost you an additional grand.
