Swedish-Serbian designer Fredrik Paulsen is known for his exclusively commissioned works that showcase a different side of Scandinavian design. Fredrik Paulsen’s glass & steel chair is crafted from tempered glass, passivated steel, and has sheepskin on the seat to ensure comfort. Its seat and backrest are made of steel to support the weight of the person; however, they are also covered with glass.

Graduate of the Royal College of Art, Paulsen is represented by Copenhagen-based gallery Etage Projects. His work can also be found in the permanent collections of the Vitra Design Museum, Växjö Konsthall, and Statens Konstråd of Sweden.
