A camping trailer that’s compact to fit into your garage; towable by any vehicle; and capable of accommodating an entire family for off-grid camping, sounds more like a dream. But with GoSun’s lightweight, solar-powered camper, everything is possible.

Created in collaboration with Camp365, dubbed GoSun Camp365, it is a pop-up camping trailer made primarily to take up less space and be lightweight to tow. It takes a single person less than 10 minutes to pop open the camper when it’s ready for installation at a remote location.

The Camp365 doesn’t make use of wood or canvas, which means its lightweight textile walls leave no gaps for air, keeping it nicely insulated. The all-aluminum frame ensures the camper is only 1,800 pounds that’s incredibly lightweight for stowing or towing by any vehicle – including an electric car.

From the images, it is easy to gauge how compact the GoSun Camp 365 is when closed. When folded out, it expands into a 100 square foot – 700 cubic foot – cabin which happens to be seven foot six inches tall.

The camping trailer is based on Camp365’s existing fold-out camping trailer cabin and capitalizes on GoSun’s incredible achievement in delivering solar-powered accessories.  Of course, the collaboration version of the off-grid fold-out camper has its own love and luster.

It, as expected, pops up with rooftop solar panels. Inside you have plenty of space for the whole family. The camper for instance fits six adults comfortably. Inflatable beds allow for several configurations while 30 cubic feet of dry storage leaves nothing outside.

The camper, for user convenience, is provided with a stove, 40L refrigerator, heated blankets, and a fresh brewing French-press coffee maker. A water purification system attached to a 24-gallon water tank onboard takes care of the water needs.

With integrated solar panels and a water filtering system, the GoSun Camp365 is an off-grid, lightweight fold-out camping trailer like no other. And when it’s parked in the garage back home, the camper can provide emergency power or fresh water. You can pre-book the GoSun Camp365 now with a $5,000 deposit against the $32,500 total price tag. It is expected to begin shipping in September 2022.
