British Columbia-based Rover Tiny Homes has an impressive line-up of beautiful tiny houses on wheels and compact foundation homes. The Hemlock tiny house by the builder is an intriguing build, with a covered patio and a rapturous interior for a small family. Offering 400 sq. ft. of bright and luxurious space, the Hemlock is outfitted with modern appliances so you don’t have to forgo any amenities even when downsized.

The exterior is made of steel cladding, while the covered patio has beautiful timber accents. It features tongue and groove pine ceilings, along with the trim that’s made from 100-year-old reclaimed barn wood. The front door opens into a vast space, where the kitchen is located on one side and a living area on the other, leaving plenty of room for placing a dining table in the middle to make entertaining easier.

The kitchen is compact but packed with quartz countertops, an integrated cooktop, a ventilation hood, an oven, a dishwasher, a sink, and plenty of overhead and under-counter cabinets. Opposite the cooking section, a refrigerator is placed next to a closet.

The living room of the Hemlock is probably the largest one we’ve seen in a long time. It is equipped with a cozy L-shaped couch and a coffee table. The couch can be swapped for a daybed or a convertible sofa bed to accommodate guests. A fireplace with custom mantel surround faces the living room and can be turned into an impressive entertainment center.

Past the living room, two doors provide access to the ground-floor bedroom and a full bathroom. The bathroom has a vanity sink, washer/dryer unit, bathtub/shower combination, medicine cabinet, and a toilet. The bedroom is designed with minimalism in mind and only has a queen-size bed, flanked with side tables.

The huge loft bedroom, accessible via a typical ladder, spans above the main floor bedroom and the bathroom. Despite the low ceiling, the loft is spacious and can accommodate a king-size bed and a couple of bookcases and cabinets.

The Hemlock tiny house is priced at $189,900, which seems fair given the impressive package that is this micro-dwelling. You can contact the builder for more information regarding delivery and customization.
