Kollen Design – the design studio formed by four students from Barcelona that surprised us earlier with a unique modular wall hanger, is presenting their new Eget work desk at Salone Del Mobile 2018. The innovative desk combines a wooden tabletop featuring rounded edges with an open drawer underneath, providing plenty of space while also maintaining a minimalist look.

There are a variety of smart features too, including motion-sensor lights, USB ports, and a wireless charger to create a personalized environment effortlessly.

Just like Kollen’s previous products, the Eget work desk offers a dynamic and interactive experience thanks to the creative design and integrated modern technology. It has a built-in wireless charger and a hidden connection system with four USB ports and four plugs to charge devices.

There are different storage spaces on the top, offering a better organization of both the cables and desk accessories. The tabletop turns into a magnetic board that allows annotations at any time.

The Kollen Eget has a motion sensing lighting placed on the tabletop, with options to adjust light intensity through an embedded regulator. There’s also an acoustic separator that can be folded down to store and hide within the desk.

The minimal design and use of new technologies enable it to adapt to any home or office environment for personalized experience.

The Köllen team (Oriol Campillo, Núria Jané, Adrian Soldado and Paula Terra) has won second prize for the Eget work desk at the 4th Jordi Amat Design in Wood Competition.
