Switzerland-based brand Laufen has launched the Cleanet MEDA Shower Toilet that looks standard at first sight but incorporates several smart features for user convenience. Conceived by Swiss designer Peter Wirz, the toilet features advanced smartphone integration, easy-to-maintain hygiene, and personalized comfort settings to upgrade your modern bathroom.
This smart shower toilet lets you adjust key features to match each user’s preferences for improved comfort and well-being. Using the LAUFEN SmartControl app, you can easily adjust the functions as needed. This way, it becomes more convenient for everyday use and better suited to personal habits.
In Laufen Cleanet MEDA, the rear shower is the primary cleansing function designed for thorough posterior hygiene, using a gentle yet effective water jet. You can choose from five adjustable levels for water temperature and pressure.
This modern toilet is also designed with feminine hygiene in mind. It has a special Lady Shower mode that offers a gentle, targeted stream of water for cleaning. Furthermore, it works with the Coanda Effect, which uses a specially shaped nozzle to direct a stream of air to a specific spot for efficient drying.
You can also benefit from the heated seat to match your personal comfort. The antibacterial treatment on the seat and cover further ensures hygiene, while the soft-close mechanism ensures additional convenience.
For hygiene, the toilet has a self-cleaning nozzle that uses UV light to remove 99 percent of bacteria after each use, ensuring cleanliness in your bathroom. The experience is further enhanced with exterior and interior illumination with an automatic on/off mode.

All of the toilet settings can be adjusted through the Laufen SmartControl app. There is also a side-mounted dial that lets you control the wash and dry functions without needing a remote or smartphone. The toilet allows you to set up to five profiles for different family members via the remote control, or you can fully customize it using the LAUFEN Smart Control app.
The Laufen Cleanet MEDA Shower Toilet is available in wall-hung, floor-standing, and close-coupled floor-standing configurations to fit various bathroom layouts.
