There is no question about the fabulousness of levitating objects since they serve as charming centerpiece at home. Whether you are using a floating speaker, lamp or a cup; they are fascinating for kids and adults alike. Previously, we brought you a variety of levitating gadgets, but you might not have seen a levitating device that comes with multiple floating objects.
Chicago-based Levitating Design Labs has created Levitating X collection that includes vases, pillow, plate and other art objects to let users select the floating item as per their own choice. The designer Joel Paglione has already crowd-funded the levitating cup that uses the same technology.
This portable and easy-to-use levitation device provides a variety of ways to impress your guests. It can be used to show-off your culinary skills in the melamine plate, display jewelry on the white leather pillow, plants collection in the Polystone vase or to express your feelings with 3D-printed resin sculptures offered by the startup.
Its electromagnetic base and levitation-assist plate enables objects to float and spin in mid-air. There are two choices of the base; you can go for the slimmer wired version that needs to be pulled in on every use or the wireless base that comes with a rechargeable battery for using anywhere.
There can be more of its uses. You just need to broaden your imagination, such as you can use one of its gravity-defying art pieces as aroma diffuser or to create a romantic candle lit dinner. Currently, its designers are raising funds on Kickstarter, so you can get one up to June 2017 by pledging the campaign for a minimum of $150 USD.
Update: After successful crowdfunding campaign now the Levitating X is offering its levitating products for purchase through the official website. The basic price for levitating objects starts from $200.
