It is rare to come across a micro dwelling I actually want to live in. Yes, the charm of tiny houses doesn’t hook me all the time! That said, when I came across the Olivewood by California-based tiny house manufacturer KJE Tiny Homes, it immediately had me hooked. Measuring 34 feet long and 10 feet wide, the Olivewood tiny house is finished in metal and cedar cladding. It packs two bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room, and a spacious bathroom inside its tiny structure.

What really intrigued me about this tiny house is its standing-height bedroom with a walk-in closet. Any tiny home with a standing-height bedroom is a winner in my book, and Olivewood not only features a high bedroom that sleeps two people but also has a walk-in closet.

Beyond the bedroom, the clever design of the Olivewood tiny house is worth mentioning. It features secret storage spaces, especially one under the master bedroom. Accessible via a small barn door, the secret storage can be used to store important essentials or be utilized as a cat house, if you have a feline friend.

In addition to the master bedroom, there is a loft accessible by a ladder. Functioning as a secondary sleeping area, the loft sleeps a couple of people. Moving downstairs, the tiny house boasts a spacious ground floor with a spacious living room. The living room can be accoutered with a couch facing the 46-inch wall-mounted television set. To keep you warm during the winters, KJE Tiny Homes incorporates an accent wall with an electric fireplace that also ends up adding aesthetic appeal to the home’s interior.

The kitchen nearby features a range of appliances. From a full-size gas range to a microwave/vent combo and from a 28-inch Whirlpool fridge to a 30-inch farmhouse sink, this is one well-equipped culinary space. Furnished with a granite countertop, plywood shaker and soft closing cabinets, and a 30-inch walnut table, the kitchen is functional as well. To add a tinge of aesthetic to the space, KJE Tiny Homes has adorned the kitchen with backsplash walls that radiate a cozy vibe.

I am talking of the bathroom at the end but that doesn’t imply it isn’t special. Featuring a 36-inch tiled corner shower with glass doors, a flushing toilet, 24-inch vanity, and a washer/dryer combo, the bathroom is really gorgeous and even has additional storage to keep your bath essentials. I am sure you’ll love the tiny house as much as I did. If you would like to place an order for this gorgeous abode, you can do so over at KJE Tiny Homes‘ website.
