Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus is expanding its market, with the launch of its Q1 series of 4K smart TVs in India. These are 55-inch TVs with nearly bezel-less QLED display, built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, Android TV functionality, as well as built-in Google Assistant, making them truly smart. Moreover, OnePlus’s Gamma Color Magic picture processor with Dolby Vision HDR makes these TVs special in terms of video quality.
The Q1 Pro includes a sliding sound bar and a stand, which makes it costlier from the other; however, the stand can also be bought for the Q1 smart TV separately. Its sound bar includes four full-range speakers, two tweeters, and two 10W woofers for a punchy output. On the other hand, ,the Q1 has a 4-speaker sound bar unit powered by Dolby Atmos, excluding the sliding function.
These 4K smart TVs can be controlled with voice commands to Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa device, companion mobile app, or through the provided remote control. There is a dedicated Google Assistant button on the remote to give voice instructions to the TV, be it searching videos on their own platform OxygenPlay, YouTube or some app from Google Play Store.
