Italian company Protek that designs and manufactures counter frames for sliding doors has created the space-saving Bigfoot furniture system for small space living. The trend is going popular and this innovative retractable furniture system is designed with the idea to provide people with a creative way to utilize most out of the available space. The entire furniture system is fitted across the walls of a home and can be concealed when not used.

The company offers modules for different things. In simple words, it is like incorporating something within a wall that can be a table, ironing board, pantry, closet, wine rack, bookcase, TV, shoe rack, and even a treadmill module to help create a small personal fitness corner at home. Users can simply slide out that particular thing as per requirement.

Protek Bigfoot furniture system is available in two versions: architectural, that is integrated into the wall during planning and renovation of the house; interior, that easily applies against an existing wall through an easy wall fixing without any additional construction.

This furniture system with sliding elements is a nifty idea for modern apartment residents wanting to incorporate furniture but lack the floor space. Protek’s Bigfoot furniture focuses on the idea of improving interior space for aesthetics and functionality.
