A couple of days back French tiny house company Baluchon unveiled a tiny house shell, which they dubbed Sakura. I am pretty sure the builder didn’t have a clue that the Canadian tiny house builder Acorn Tiny Homes was about to release a model with the same name. D’Arcy McNaughton, CEO of Acorn Tiny Homes has just released a brand new dwelling, a $109K tiny house with a beautiful interior.

Translating to Cherry Blossom in English, the 21.5-foot Sakura tiny house offers 225 sq. ft. of livable space. The exterior of the micro-dwelling is up-gradable to faux stone, natural wood, or premium metal finishes and comes capped with a metal roof for durability. Packed inside the exquisite exterior comes an elevated living room, a pull-out bedroom, a hidden kitchen, a built-in entertainment unit, and a bathroom.

For ventilation, the tiny house is accoutered with 4-triple glazed energy-efficient windows and a bathroom skylight that keeps the interior fresh and bright. Not to mention, the floor-to-ceiling built-in cabinetry that is spread throughout the house, hence offering loads of storage. Visitors enter into an open area that transforms into a bedroom, courtesy of a pull-out bed cleverly concealed under the elevated living room floor.

Speaking of the living room, it is cozy and luxurious. Equipped with a sofa, plenty of storage, and a built-in entertainment center, the living room is an absolute delight. The built-in entertainment unit also comes with a modular workstation that tucks away when not in use. Nearby is the kitchen that hides behind cabinetry when not in use.

The hidden kitchen consists of an extendable quartz countertop, induction cook stove,  built-in oven/microwave, fridge, and washer/dryer combo. There is also a dishwasher integrated into the kitchen walls, which is still a rarity in tiny houses.

The bathroom of the Sakura tiny house lies on the opposite end of the dwelling. It features fully tiled walls and floor, and a skylight overlooking the shower, toilet, and sink.

If you are intrigued by the $109K tiny house, visit the official website of Acorn Tiny Homes to place your order. If you are willing to spend a little more than the base price, Acorn Tiny Homes will accouter the home with a solar system and fully off-grid packages, as well.

Absolutely love the way your designers have fitted everything in the space included the kitchen that can be hidden with doors that can close it off,I kind of figured out where the doors came from as it does not show it.I am planning a space above a one car garage and just am astonished a lot of things can make it so comfy, without making it feel cramped. The space I am working with is 27ft long by 17 ft wide which I am planning,a bedroom and bathroom, with a deck over a carport.I will watch your website for ideas.Thankyou
