Updated 30.03.2020: Due to the increasing spread of the coronavirus, the Salone del Mobile 2020 has been canceled officially. The event will now take place from 13 to 18 April 2021.

The much anticipated Milan Furniture Fair was initially postponed to June 2020 due to the Coronavirus outbreak in Italy.

Every year, Salone del Mobile.Milano attracts hundreds of thousands of businesspersons, young designers, artists, design firms and manufacturers, as well as design enthusiasts from all over the world. People wait anxiously for the event in April as it showcases the best the world can see in home décor and industrial design.

According to the latest reports, the fair this year has been pushed to the month of June. It will now be held from 16 to 21 June at Rho Fiera Milano, Italy.

In lieu of health of the visitors, the board of the Federlegno Arredo Eventi has decided to reschedule the event this year. The date changing decision was publicized on social media along with a video featuring Beppe Sala, Mayor of Milan.
