If I were to prepare a list of the most underrated tiny house manufacturers around the world, I’d put the Australia-based Häuslein tiny house company at the top of my list. I feel the micro-dwelling maker from Port Macquarie is one of the most underappreciated in terms of the design and versatility it offers.
I speak so highly of the manufacturer because Häuslein left me in awe with its Luna tiny house and flaunted its versatility with the toy hauler which was introduced in the fall of 2022. But where did it all start for Häuslein? The answer is Sojourner, the first tiny home with which the Australian mobile habitat maker marked its debut in the industry.
Measuring 26 feet long, the Sojourner tiny house comes in three layouts and offers off-grid facilities as an add-on. Built on a double-axle trailer, it features an exterior cladding of slate matte ‘Trimdek Colorbond’ steel that blends well with the western red cedar. Not to mention, the timber and glass double doors that come with a Samsung keyless entry door lock.

Beautiful from the outside, the tiny house is graceful inside out. Gorgeous cypress pine floors add a rustic charm to the house while the lavish interior adds functionality and aesthetics to the overall space. Featuring a slide-out living room, Sojourner’s inside space is accoutered with a black couch, built-in storage, and a solid cypress pine bookshelf below the TV location.
There is also extra space available, in case you want to add a coffee or multi-purpose table in the future. The living room also has a 43-inch Ultra High Definition TV.
Adjacent is the two-sided kitchen with generous storage. It is equipped with all necessary essentials ranging from a sink, Cypress Pine shelving, and countertop. Optional extras include appliances with the likes of a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing Machine, and Ultra High Definition TV as aforementioned. But you’d obviously be charged a little more for this than the base price. Even the two bar stools as visible in the pictures come in the add-ons.

Moving on to the bathroom, it includes a traditional flush toilet, a corner shower, and a vanity unit with a ceramic basin. There is also space available to accommodate a full-size washing machine or washer/dryer. Other features include a spacious wardrobe with hanging space and drawers.
The sole loft of the tiny house lies above the bathroom. Functioning as a typical bedroom, it has a queen-size mattress with enough room to stand upright. The bedroom also includes a spacious wardrobe with hanging space, shelving, and a phone nook accessible from the bed. The entire home is spacious and has plenty of windows to allow light to pass in. The tiny house sleeps four in its spacious and lavish interior.
