One of the simplest pleasures in life is to sleep under the stars in middle of snowy mountain ranges. But within a tent you cannot enjoy a full 360-degree view of the surrounding landscape. Therefore, to offer you completely unparalleled and unobstructed view of scenic Dolomite Mountain ranges, Cortina Dolomiti has created a simple glass cabin called Starlight Room.

Situated at an altitude of 6,742-feet in mountainous region of Cortina, Italy, the glass-encased cabin is made by local artisans with local materials such as wood, metal and glass. The tiny room is idyllic for visitors, who are looking for a private space to enjoy exotic views of mountainous region alone.

Inside the tiny room there is an adjustable bed, providing you a comfy space for sitting or lying down to gaze the stars at night. If it gets cold at night, there’s a heater to keep you warm. There is also a flatscreen television that plays time-lapse images of the Dolomites. But who would like to watch the ranges on TV when you’re actually present at the snow-capped location?

Starlight room is perfect for consumers that enjoy winter and outdoor activities, and seeking for a scenic place to escape the world. Guests will have to snowmobile in, due to the remote location of the cabin. The only drawback is that no bathroom is present in the cabin. So, it’s going to be really tough for inhabitants to manage without a proper washroom. In case you don’t care about that facility, you can book the cabin for €550 ($630) per night for two people (dinner and breakfast included).
