Humans have evolved tremendously over the centuries with technology playing a pivotal role in the way we have transformed. With the technological advancements around us, our laziness quotient is at its peak. From slaying saber-toothed predators in jungles to slouching and scrolling in our beds, we are getting lazier by the day. And products like the SwitchBot Curtain Rod 2, which are adding substance to our progress, are on the hindside providing impetus to our sluggish attitude.

So, what is SwitchBot Curtain Rod 2? Basically, it is a robot or a switch that runs along your curtain rod and automates drawing curtains open or close. It provides users with a remote to control curtains and setting it up is simple. It comes with two hooks and a wheel that hold it in place while the wheel allows movements on the curtain rod. You just need to attach the SwitchBot between the first and second loops of your curtain and the bot will do the rest for you.

Launch first in 2019, the SwitchBot Curtain Rod in its second edition comes with a whole new DynamiClamp technology that will assist you to open and close your room curtains without bothering you with any physical strain. With revamped technology,  the robot is designed to fit almost any curtain rod and operate smoothly. In a nutshell, it is more compatible than the first version.

With SwitchBot Curtain Rod 2 users need not even press a remote button, rather can control it via voice assistant. Working even better with your smart home appliances, Switchbot Hub Mini, uses your voice command to control the curtains over Alexa, Google Home, Siri, and other integrations.

Like we said before, with the whole new DynamiClamp design, the product is more compatible with extended rods. In addition, one can even set a schedule to open and close the curtains and save themselves from the hassle of commanding the curtains time and again. Users can set a schedule on SwitchBot App.
