Generally, coworking and private spaces are functionally important. The open floor plan office helps employees collaborate and consistently improve performance, while private spaces are important for meetings and feedbacks. The Ukrainian interior design studio MZPA, who launched The Planet office pod chair, has introduced its upgraded version. Aptly named ‘The Planet for Two,’ the chair is designed to serve as a privacy pod for two.

Made from metal and plywood with a protective layer of oil-wax, this two-person office pod is a great alternative to space dividers. Measuring 1.7m h x 1.9m w, and weighing about 150 kg, it can be used as a private meeting room, lounge zone or working space. It consists of 61 triangular plywood panels, connected together through 37 steel elements. Sitting on four metal legs with rounded tips, The Planet for Two goes well with any office environment with its aesthetically pleasing black finish and interiors lined in fabric mattress with filler.

Options to choose the desired color for fabric and other elements facilitate a higher level of customization for suitability. You can ask the design studio to include two LED lamps and laptop desk in the pod.

The pod-like design offers amazing sound absorbing properties so that you don’t have to worry about eavesdropping during a conversation.

Priced at $5,700, it is perfect for relaxing, long talks, business discussions with clients or inspiring dialogues with team members. Combining an armchair design with a pod, The Planet for Two ensures both privacy and comfort while also complementing the existing office furniture with refined and minimalist aesthetics.
