DIY Lighted Window Frames are Easy-to-Install Christmas Decorations

You may have started decorating your home for Christmas in your own unique way. A house draped in light strings on exterior is sure to appeal family and friends, as well as neighbors and passersby. If you have intermediate woodworking skills, then this DIY Christmas project is a great fir for your boring weekend. You will need thin wooden slats, band clamps, wood glue, zip ties, and heavy-duty LED strings. The DIY starts from making rectangular frames out of wood slats. Once done, paint them in the same color of windows or any other desired color.

In the last, you need to clip up LED strings using zip ties and add hooks at the top of each window frame for hanging. You can make creative designs of light strings and even make the LEDs blink, but would require professional help.
