If you are looking for a cozy vacation rental nestled in a forest but in close vicinity to the city, this tiny wooden cabin in Abergavenny, Wales, might satisfy your expectations. Located on a wooded site, this one-bedroom cabin was a Wood Shack earlier and has been converted into a secluded getaway for people wanting to spend time away from busy everyday life.

This tiny cabin attracts a plentiful thanks to its lovely location surrounded by trees. There are a host of wooden creations inside the cabin, made by the owner Rob from a native ash tree cut at the property. The interior space is bathed in bright white with a combination of light blue.

Inside, there is a cozy living room with a sofa and a table along with a wood-burning stove. By the side is the kitchen with a sink, induction hob, fridge, and other items needed to cook food. The bedroom lies next door and has a double bed with handmade wooden paneling and hanging rails made from tree branches. There’s also a full shower with running hot and cold water, as well as a basin and toilet inside.

The most interesting feature of the Wood Shack is the outdoor space meant for guests to enjoy the best of the surrounding nature and wildlife. There is a huge oak deck complete with a table and chairs for lounging outside. It is a setting ideal for barbeques and toasting marshmallows, even watching birds.

The property has a main electricity connection from the grid, allowing guests the facility to charge electronic devices and do more. But the location is so quaint and serene that guests would not get time to check their smartphones or iPads.
