COVID-19 may have taken a back seat but the trend for working from home – boosted during the pandemic – has not reverted. In fact, there’s an ever-increasing demand for mobile offices, which Work Mate by Tiny Mobile Australia intends to satiate through this comprehensive off-grid mobile office solution that also doubles as a charging station for the towing electric vehicle.

The AUD45,000 (approx. $28,800) tiny mobile office features a modern design, smooth lines, and a smart off-grid system to offer a comfortable and secluded working space. Its sustainable structure is created using local supplies to keep up with its eco-friendly traits.

Powered by the sun, this office on wheels can help charge your electric vehicle – in stationary and mobile mode – which ensures you can work from anywhere without generating any harmful emissions. Interestingly the tiny office has an atmospheric water generator to “capture air and convert it to drinking water.”

Stroking your creativity and efficiency, the Work Mate has a spacious interior. The 14-foot-long tiny house comes with a small porch where you can sit and enjoy the cool breeze while admiring the scenic surroundings during your breaks between work.

The front sliding door leads you into a bright and light-filled interior. On the left side is a wall-mounted work desk placed in front of a big window and a wall-mounted television next to it. The other side features a built-in bench and an integrated table. Past the living area, a kitchen is located with an integrated cooktop, sink, and other appliances. There are under-counter cabinets and overhead open shelving. The tiny office even has a cassette toilet.

Weighing 1.5 tons, Work Mate is towable with the majority of electric vehicles. It can be outfitted with a convertible couch instead of the provided bench where you can rest your back after long hours in front of a computer or even sleep overnight if you’re in the wild. The kitchen can also be customized with additional appliances of choice if need be.

Tiny Mobile Australia allows even further customization of this compact space. It means you can make necessary changes according to your requirements whether you are a freelancer, entrepreneur, or artist.
