As you trot the globe, an array of unique travel opportunities await you. Vacationers experiment to combine travel with culinary excursions supported by the fanciest restaurants worldwide. If you fancy foraying into the memorable and quirky world of dining, be startled by the CuliAir Skydining: An inceptive idea by acclaimed Dutch Chef Angélique Schmeinck, dubbed the world’s first hot air balloon restaurant.

Hovering in the skies of the Netherlands, fortunate diners keen on experiencing spirit of adventure enjoy a three-course meal here. Cooking the food slowly at low temperatures, perfect dishes savoring the aroma and texture can be curated for gourmet lovers within the balloon. The dishes are transported to the crown of the balloon envelope in special-purpose steel oven baskets via a custom pulley. A display of live cooking finish is given to the partly cooked meal which is then hoisted down to the custom-made kitchen, ready to be devoured.

The hot air balloon’s interior is laced with temperature sensors to achieve perfect culinary results on every flight. Resulting in a top-level dinner experience, dishes are prepared à la minute. The chef mandatorily adds food variety to satisfy the palate and textures, whereas the pilot knows when to keep the balloon quiet for the true culinary experience in this hot air balloon restaurant.

Offering exemplary taste and freshness, the chef prepares meals including, vegetables, meat, and fruits making it an unforgettable dining experience.

As a result of the chef’s creative bend, be enthralled to experience the peak of food, decor, entertainment, and atmosphere at its best. The CuliAir balloon can accommodate up to 10 passengers, and the best time to book this spectacular flight is June, August, and September for ideal weather. The cost is 475 euros (roughly $520) per person, including dining and the balloon ride.
