Just like comfort and ergonomics, aesthetic is also a factor to decide a chair design. Some like their chairs to be simple and elegant, while others want them unique. Designer Dmitriy Sivak of Ukraine-based interior design studio Sivak & Partners seems to be from the second school of thought, as evident from his Yellow Brick chair.

Made from several soft cushioned blocks lined in an abstract form, this chair reminds one of the Tetris game. Each block seems to be frozen in its position, giving it a sort of floating effect. One for the backrest, one for seating, and another smaller one for an armrest on the right side, there are many differently sized blocks composing the chair. In addition, its angular design in yellow makes up a unique look.

Despite being made from separate blocks, it is soft on all sides for a person to sit comfortably in any position. Its size and shape make this seat worth a man cave, where you won’t have to re-position it anyway.
