The rise of COVID-19 has made workplace hygiene more important than ever! For the concerned, Australian-based Zip Water has created Zip HydroTap Touch Free Wave, which requires no contact – thanks to onboard sensors that make the touch-free control possible.

This faucet is a contactless version of the company’s HydroTap that uses in-house proprietary sensor technology to dispense boiling, chilled and sparkling water from one system, all without having to touch the tap. Each faucet has multiple smart infrared sensors integrated to help dispense different types of water on demand.

The sensors detect hand movements within 1.5 to 5cm range of the tap. Drinking water will have a maximum run time of 15 seconds, adjustable from the command center, while the faucet delivers boiling water only after twin sensor activation for safety.

The Zip HydroTap Touch-Free Wave uses patented PowerPulse boiling, Direct DryChilling, and ColdCore Carbonation technologies along with MicroPurity filtration to transform tap water instantly. There is an 0.2 micron NSF-certified filter incorporating innovative silver ion antimicrobial technology to provide healthier, pure-tasting water.

The Zip HydroTap Touch-Free Wave provides a 100-percent touch-free solution to dispense instant drinking water. It is available in different water dispensing options through Zip Water’s website.
