Robot vacuum cleaners stole the spotlight at CES 2026, marking a shift from prototypes to problem-solving models. Building on last year’s breakthroughs, such as extendable arms for picking up socks and better threshold navigation, this year’s show emphasized stair-climbing capabilities, advanced AI intelligence, and innovative hygiene and convenience features. We have curated a list of the best robotic vacuum cleaners we saw at the event.

Roborock Saros Rover

We knew Roborock was cooking something big for CES 2026, but the brand introducing the first-ever stair-climbing robot was beyond anyone’s imagination. Roborock pushed boundaries with the Saros Rover, a robot vacuum equipped with extendable legs that allow it to climb stairs on its own. Building on the brand’s previous Saros Z70, which features a retractable arm, this model takes mobility to the next level. Other features include AI-driven navigation, 19,000 Pa suction power, but it was the groundbreaking design that stole all the limelight.

Dreame Cyber X

Dreame introduced an innovative concept with the Cyber X. Rather than equipping the vacuum itself with legs, it pairs with a dedicated carrier robot featuring Bionic QuadTrack (tank-style treads). This setup enables the system to transport the vacuum up and down stairs, reaching up to 9.8 inches high. While still in the prototype stage with no confirmed release date, it represents a creative workaround for multi-level homes, though its real-world practicality remains to be assessed. We have to see a more finished version at IFA this year.

Eufy Omni S2

Eufy brought a fresh twist to the hybrid vacuum-mop category with the Omni S2. This model includes a built-in aromatherapy system that disperses pleasant scents (such as Citrus & Basil, Bamboo & Sage, or Bergamot & Lychee) via replaceable pods while cleaning. It also electrolyzes ordinary tap water to eliminate “99.99% of common household germs”, alongside packing 30,000Pa of suction that automatically adjusts based on floor type, handles 1-inch thresholds, and uses AI to detect over 200 objects and 40 stain types for optimized performance. The Omni S2 is set to launch on January 20, 2026, with a suggested retail price of $1,600.

Samsung’s Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra

Samsung is trying hard to make a name for itself in the robotic vacuum cleaner niche, and it seems the efforts have finally paid off. The South Korean Electronics company has introduced the Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra at CES 2026. The robot vacuum stands out for its advanced AI capabilities, driven by a Qualcomm Dragonwing processor. It identifies people, pets, cords, liquids, and more, choosing to clean or avoid them depending on user settings, while featuring extendable mops and side brushes for better edge cleaning. The steam function heats water to 212°F to kill bacteria, and it can lift its wheels to cross thresholds up to 2.4 inches. Additional highlights include seamless integration with Samsung smart home ecosystems.

Robotin R2 Robot Vacuum and Carpet Cleaner

What started as a Kickstarter campaign is gaining attention at CES 2026 as one of the best robot vacuums of 2026. The Robotin R2 vacuum cleaner takes a modular approach, allowing users to swap between a standard vacuuming unit and a dedicated carpet-cleaning module that tackles stains and spills on rugs (complete with a transparent window to watch the dirt being extracted.

All-in-all, CES 2026 demonstrated that robot vacuums are evolving beyond simple floor cleaning. Key trends include dramatically improved mobility (especially for stairs and thresholds), smarter AI for object and stain recognition, and added wellness features like germ-killing tech, steam sanitation, and even pleasant scents.

While some of these are still concepts or early prototypes, the direction points toward truly multi-floor, hands-off cleaning solutions in the near future. It will be interesting to see how these technologies evolve by the time we get ready for IFA 2026.
