Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, and all the major retailers want us to be prepared well in advance. From Starbucks menu to new Stanley tumblers and a plethora of brands dropping their Valentine’s Day collections left and right, we have got a lot to sort through for keepsakes and gifting. Starbucks Japan wants to put its hat in the ring for the best lineup with the newly launched Valentine’s Day collection of drinkware and goods. Dubbed Bitter & Sweet, the new range expresses the sweetness and bitterness of chocolate with adorable dogs and cats that make for perfect gifts for the season of love.
Bringing the bitter-sweet flavors of the chocolates, the range features a tumbler worth US$120, two Stanley collaborations in shimmery pinks, gift cards, and even a furry cat pouch. Most items in the collection are marked with dogs and cats to add a dash of cuteness.

The collection seems like an ode to chocolate, Japan’s top gift-giving option for Valentine’s Day. With over 20 items, the Bitter & Sweet collection from Starbucks Japan is not only a treat for coffee lovers but also for pet people.

You get to choose between the themes of sweet chocolate and bitter chocolate, with merchandise divided into these two. Take your picks from rich brown hues or soft pinks, with glitter or rhinestones. The new collection is available for purchase, except for the heart-shaped silicone coaster, which will be in stores from January 21.
As is the case with all Starbucks merchandise launches, the Bitter & Sweet collection is bound to fly off shelves. So if you want something from the lineup, you’d better hurry up.
