The Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair, (a great stage for young Nordic designers) this year witnessed several international brands like Herman Miller, Seletti and Dear Human. There were plenty of modern furniture and lighting projects, however, the BaBa chair from Lithuania-based furniture manufacturer Jot.jot is something out of the box. Designed by Iskos Berlin, it is a soft bean-shaped side chair that invites people to sit on and cuddle up on it for ultimate comfort. There are thousands of chair designs out there, but such an idea can absolutely come out of a professional designer’s mind for sure.

There are four thin and small legs, raising it to a height that seems to be perfect for resting or outstretching legs on floor. With rounded edges and gently reclining back, this fabric chair becomes an element of comfort and style in any living room. Its upholstered seat and back is comfortable, thanks to the highly-stretchable knitted 3D fabric made of elastic thread. One can use it like a normal seating and even like a lounge chair to lie down comfortably on the back.

The BaBa fabric chair is distinguished by its inviting appearance, which possibly makes it an alternative for accent chairs. Furthermore, it is available in seven different colors to match with different interior styles. They have made BaBaBa chairs too, which consist of two or three BaBa chairs.
