Plastic has is an incredible part of our lives we cannot do without. Unsurprisingly then, we are surrounded by various kinds of plastic products. Plastic however has adverse effects on the environment due to unhealthy disposal techniques. With recent technological advancements, a number of companies have started recycling plastic and turning it into practical products for domestic or commercial use.

One such company opting for responsible and innovative use for plastics is the Italian brand Infiniti, which has decided to develop its latest products using post-consumer plastic (PCR). The company has collaborated with Danish designer Claus Breinholt to create eco-friendly furniture that promotes a circular economy, which means they can be recycled at the end of their life.

Introducing Canva monobloc chair, it is crafted from recycled polypropylene plastic and it resembles a classic wooden chair but with a touch of modernity. The chair is equipped with an upholstered seat pad without any visible screws.

This recycled plastic chair boasts clean lines and a light design that makes it an interesting piece of furniture for both residential and contract projects. Although Canova chair is made from recycled plastic it doesn’t look like one – the design looks more lux and inviting than plastic chairs!

There are different finishes to choose from, as well as material for the seat. Aside from classic upholstery, the seat will also be available in natural or black-stained ash wood. You have to contact the manufacturer for price and availability information about the Canva recycled plastic chair.
