Easy DIY Creepy Tree to Spook up Your Halloween

Halloween is fast approaching and people are busy in either purchasing décor items or making them at home. Many DIY-ers are sharing procedures for Halloween décor, be it outdoors or indoors. Taking it a notch up, Grier Rubeling has posted her Creepy Halloween tree on The Craft Crib.

Grier shared the process details along with the pictures and it looks really easy to make. She used a steel fencing wire to form the tree trunk and made roots out of crumpled papers, then secured the stem and roots to the circular wooden base. She made arms with the help of circular pipes joined with elbows and thread it through the trunk of the tree.

For hands she used some twigs secured with floral wire. Grier then cut out eyes and mouth on the stem. Then, she covered the entire structure with spray foam and once it was dry she painted it with black and brown paint with little hints of white paint.

The final outcome is really spectacular. This tree looks like a mixture of two terrifying creatures – the head reminds of The Night King from Game of Thrones and roots sure reminds of Ursula from Little Mermaid. The sight of this life-sized creepy tree will definitely scare the hell out of people.

The process of making this tree is quite simple and you can craft one for yourself at home. You can follow the tutorial here.
