In addition to offering unmatched coziness and comfort, a lounge chair lets you enjoy your favorite novel, relax after a busy work day, or watch a movie. With a range of styles, upholstery and patterns, it is pretty certain you’ll find a fit for your living room, bedroom, or any other relaxing space. Offering all of the above attributes and much more is the latest creation, the Havana Lounge Chair.
Created by furniture designer LAB 15 for Danish brand Eilersen, the chair comes as a modest make representing the designer’s keen analytic eye for trends, colors, and materials. Enveloping an oversized curvacious design, the make adorns a round shape with a cushioned form displaying a soft yet robust style. The pouf chair comes in two different styles with single or double arms and an optional backrest.
Since Cuban chairs are known to naturally emulate the curves of the body, Havana Lounge chair is built on the same lines, providing various expressions for the same. The chair comes as a fusion between Cuban chairs and Danish designs, improvising decorative arts and architecture at large.
The upholstery of this lounge chair offers a variety of solid-colored textured or patterned fabrics, making it possible for you to add incredible style to your bland spaces. Eilersen keeps true to its essence of offering the best materials while acing craftsmanship with this creation. The design is such that it gives user the option to use the furniture piece alone or with Eilersen sofas.
“However, unlike the old ’50s chairs and Cuba chairs, our starting point was to create a lounge chair with a greater sense of ease and smaller volume density, which make it much more relevant in contemporary décor,” said LAB 15 co-founder Kristian Sofus Hansen. For interested buyers, the opulent Havana Lounge Chair is available at a price of $3,202.
