Christmas is almost here; it is the best time to go over the last-minute decorations. What, you did not find time to buy a wreath for the season? Surely, now is not the time to run from one store to the other. Fret not, I have got you covered with a last-minute Merry Christmas wreath that requires a handful of materials and you can make it in under 30 minutes.

Material Required:

  • Two wire frame wreaths (one big and one small)
  • Jute twine
  • Merry Christmas sign
  • Glitter paper Holly leaves
  • Scissors
  • Christmas ribbons of choice
  • Hot glue gun

Steps to Make a Last-Minute Merry Christmas Wreath

  • Join two – big and small – metal wreath rings using jute twine. Wrap the thread where the two wreaths touch each other, this will be merely a few inches. Leave the rest untouched for now
  • Next, start wrapping the half-moon-like gap between the wreaths with the twine. Make crisscross patterns and tie wherever you can so it won’t slip on the metal. Be patient, as this step is really taxing and will take the longest time in the entire process, but trust me when I say, the result is so satisfying
  • Once the thread has filled the half-moon somewhat, glue the Merry Christmas sign on the net you just wove (I got a Merry Christmas sign stencil as a mirror image of it from the Internet and traced it over the back of red glitter paper and then cut it into shape)
  • Now take three bunches of three Holly leaves and glue them around the sign
  • Make a pretty bow out of your festive ribbons and glue them on the part where your twine is joining the two wreaths
  • And that is it. Your wreath is ready to adorn your front door or any empty wall
