German company LUQEL has come up with an innovative water purifying solution that can make ordinary tap water taste better and feel healthier. It uses Hydronar filter technology, which is multi-stage filtration to remove impurities in drinking water. There is also a customized mineralization system to enrich the water with minerals.

The Luqel Water Station has a coarse filter installed at the water connection to stop foreign substances from entering the unit. Then, water is pumped through the Hydonar Sediment Filter using a pump, which removes small particles such as sand, micro-plastics, and rust particles.

Next, the Hydronar Activated Carbon filtration removes foreign matter smaller than 1 micron. The final filter stage is Reverse Osmosis, which completely removes glyphosate, nitrate and drug residues using a high-quality filter membrane.

After the water has been purified, one can mineralize it according to individual preferences. Luqel Water Station can also deliver the water at a preferred temperature, and even carbonized if you prefer.

The water does not remain stagnant at any point in the water station, which prevents bacterial contamination, while water pipes are cleaned with 75 degrees hot water to maintain hygiene. One can also save the purifier preferences for later so you don’t have to set it up every time.

Each unit is made from stainless steel and glass and features touch display for controlling the purification and mineralization features.

It is a low-noise water purifier that heats and cools water in real-time to minimize energy consumption. The Luqel Water Station not only cleans the water but also offers individually mineralized water that would probably benefit the user’s health.

There are no pricing details yet, but you will be able to see the Luqel Water Station at IFA 2019 to be held from 6 to 11 September 2019.
